Loulerie Pop Up in Cork
All the Details on our Cork Pop Up - May 2019
Last year, I decided after a busy year to go away with my family on New Year’s Day. It was one of the best things I did. We headed down to cork and had a wonderful few days. The welcome we received and how my kids were treated really blew me away it felt like a home away from home. I decided then and there we would plan a pop up to Cork for Loulerie.
The following May, we headed down to Cork as I wanted to get to meet our lovely customers in person and bring the SS19 collections to Cork.
We wanted to find a location that was easy to get to for everyone, moms on school run, people working, ladies heading out for drinks and Hayfield Manor was the perfect choice. I had been once before and loved the warm atmosphere and amazing staff. Karen Fleming is the person to thank from Hayfield for making our pop up a success and working so hard on it for us.
Our amazing PR Emer Melody is now based in Cork and organised a gorgeous breakfast for us to meet some familiar and new faces who we could show our collections to and tell our story to. Cliona O'Connor, one of my favourite bloggers to follow online for all things fitness, fashion and family has always supported us and was hugely helpful in helping me decide on this pop up idea.
From the moment we set foot in the hotel they couldn’t do enough for us, especially John who checked in on us so many times. The breakfasts are absolutely legendary and my favourite part of staying in any hotel is always breakfast time. My room was the most magnificent suite overlooking the front garden it felt more like staying in the country then being right in the centre of the city.
Taragh, our marketing manager, planned the event incredibly well and she adored meeting the customers face to face and learning more about their style.Tonya, our retail manager, loved helping clients style their outfits. Many women came with pictures or dresses they wanted to style for a special occasion so Tonya was able to offer one on one style advice and see what jewellery would perfectly compliment their outfit.
I was overwhelmed by the warm reception and interest of the gorgeous clients in our collections. One of my favourite parts of my job is sharing the stories about the designers we stock, the pieces I design and the people behind the brands.
We are a small intimate boutique and online business so we wanted to make sure we offered the best service possible when our cork clients came to visit having the time to chat to them individually. Business is all about people at the end of the day and building relationships is what Loulerie is built on.
All in all, it was an amazing experience and we are absolutely over the moon to be coming back to Cork on November 22nd and 23rd and what a gorgeous time of year to visit such a fabulous hotel. We will have all our new collections, stunning new gift packaging and our exclusive Loulerie Fine Jewellery to showcase to our lovely customers in Cork.
So, whether you are looking for Christmas gifts, everyday jewellery for yourself or a statement piece for over the party season - we will have our amazing team to help you on the day. Register for your preferred time slot and come join us in Cork.
Pop ups are a fabulous way of meeting clients face to face, they also take a huge amount of work as it's literally building a shop overnight. I cannot thank my team enough for all their hard work. I can’t wait to hit the road now for Loulerie in Hayfield Manor and I swear it’s not just for the 5 star breakfast and dreamy rooms.
